IIT Bombay Team Visit to Los Angeles

It was a great pleasure to host the IITB team is consisting of distinguished members  Prasanna Mujumdar (Deputy Director) and Jugal Verma (Dean Faculty Affairs) Southern California on 17th (UCLA)  and 18th October (USC). This is a great opportunity to meet the team and learn and discuss with them more about what's happening at our Alma Mater.

It is with great pleasure to share that IIT Bombay Roadshow, brought by distinguished delegates, is  visiting Southern California on 17th (UCLA)  and 18th October (USC)


The IITB team is consisting of distinguished members  Prasanna Mujumdar (Deputy Director) and Jugal Verma (Dean Faculty Affairs).


This is a great opportunity to meet the team and learn more about what's happening at our Alma Mater and discuss with them your suggestions.

As they are coming from so far away, I would urge everyone to make an attempt to join and making this event a success.

DATE: 18th October 2016, Tuesday

TIME: 7:00PM to 8:00 PM

PARKING DETAILS: Parking structure A or PSA is closest. When they enter campus at Kiosk, one can get permit for about $10.

Parking meters on and off campus also available. One can park on Vermont Ave if one gets a space. USC Maps. Between 9pm and 6am, to enter campus  USC ID or a registered guest pass is required.


There will be light Snacks at the event.

After the event, we will go for dinner a close by restaurant (to be decided) along with the team. All are welcome to join. We have not made reservation due to short notice and lack of availability of headcount.

USING TECHNOLOGY TO ENHANCE

PRIMARY SCHOOL EDUCATION IN INDIA

 

Pan IIT Alumni Association brings to you thought leaders who are driving the spread of primary education in India. Come and share your thoughts on how to enhance the quality of such education using technology. The outcome could go a long way in benefitting millions of children who seek a better future for themselves.

 PanIIT Picnic
 

Pan IIT SoCal Chapter invites you, your family, and friends to its annual picnic on Saturday, June 22, 2013, in sunny Cerritos, CA.

  • Date: 22nd June (Saturday), 2013
  • Time: 11:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Location: South Shelter @ Liberty Park

This year's picnic offers a host of attractions for the alumni families and friends throughout the afternoon: Meet long lost friends and classmates and make new friends.

In addition to our usual attractions, this year's picnic includes a 45 min Magic Show by acclaimed Magician Lou Serrano.

Other attractions include:

  • Mouth-watering and sumptuous Indian food - including fresh Naan (made on site), Chaat and Chai and Garmi ki jaan - Fresh Panna! accompanied with Chocolate Fountain sweets etc .. ,
  • Fun games for all age groups - Networking Games, Mini Golf, Musical Chairs, Lemon Spoon Race, Antakshari and more.
  • Hob nob with fellow IIT (from all IITs) alumni and interesting guests
  • Raffles, prizes *(In the past we have given Kindle, iPod)*

* *- Note: Registered kids under 10 will get a small gift at the picnic.

3:00 pm - 3:45 pm: More entertainment /skits - Antakshari + Raffles

3:45 pm - 4:30 pm: Chai / Soap Box / Game Prizes /Thank you(s)

4:30 pm - 5:00 pm: Wrap-up, and promises to meet soon
