Hello Alumnus,

It’s our great pleasure to have you in this page. Warm greetings from silicon ship. Silicon ship is one of the youngest hostels of the campus with around 600 rooms. The color and shape of the wings truly makes it the SILICON SHIP of campus. Hostel was inaugurated in July, 2010 by Dr. Anil Kakodar, Chairman, Board of Governors. Hostel 14 is a PG hostel comprising almost balanced ratio of M.Tech and PhD students. Despite being just three years old it is already one of the happening hostels.

Recently hostel has opened music room, study room, library, techroom. Hostel is striving towards more development in terms of providing basic amenities to residents. E.g. second TV has been installed recently, second washing machine room has been started, wing wise water dispenser has been setup, floor wise normal drinking water tap has been setup along with cold drinking water tap. Hostel ground work has been started.

Every year hostel celebrates an amazing Valedictory function which is best among its class. Hostel is slowly but steadily making improvement in the arena of sports and cultural activities also. This year hostel has been semi-finalist in the Cricket GC. Hostel performed pretty well in the Dramatics GC and is also gearing up for PAF.Silicon ship aspires to become best hostel of the campus. With all these development work going on around the hostel, current residents of Silicon Ship wants all the alumni of the hostel to get involved, so that past can meet present to make a better future.
