IIT Bombay Alumni Association Benevolent Fund
CONTACT: IIT Bombay Alumni Association (IITBAA)
The IITBAA Benevolent Fund has been set up to provide financial assistance to tide over emergencies such as unexpected crisis or major downturns causing undue hardships in their lives. The Fund aims to help persons associated with the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, at present or in the past, and their families.
Since its inception in December 2007 with a modest capital of Rs. 1 lakh, Benevolent Fund has grown in size through periodic alumni contributions and receipts from surpluses of various re-union activities. Several needy cases have been dealt with after due deliberations by an expert committee. Our balance in June 2011 is expected to be in the region of Rs. 14.15 lakhs.
Besides the Benevolent Fund, Helping Hand is another initiative of IITBAA to help alumni in need for reasons ranging from a medical emergency to sudden job loss or other such unexpected calamity ... more.
Save the abovementioned contact information on your mobiles and address books for use in an emergency.
